About the Event

BUILD Connections Lab and CBS Health are delighted to invite students, startups, researchers, and partners in the industry to join us in our very first Tapas Talks.

In this event series, participants will have the chance to explore exciting contemporary topics in relation to IT with startups and industry experts, as well as to chat and discuss over delicious food and drinks.

The event will be held at ScrollBar, our student Friday bar at the IT University of Copenhagen (Rued Langgaards Vej 7).

The list of participating companies is:

Gonio VR is a company on a mission to revolutionise physical therapy. They do this by integrating these exercises in specific virtual reality games, which at the same time collect information about the patient's recovery and track the quality of their movements. These games may even suggest alternative diagnoses to the physician as well! Gonio VR increases the patient's ability to take care of themselves and decrease their recovery time in a fun way.

Tiny Wolf is a health tech startup combining patient analytics and hardware to help children with respiratory conditions. Their device removes 80 % of all particles in the breathing zone (e.g. pollution, dust, etc) within the first 120 seconds. This is proven to alleviate, for example, asthma. Given the device's ability to detect breathing patterns, it enables parents to monitor daily the child’s respiratory health and spot symptom changes - as well as sharing data with their doctor for faster diagnosis.

Injurymap offers its users a personalised training programme to reduce muscle and joint pain. The app adapts each exercise to the individual's strengths and weaknesses, providing a shorter and faster path to recovery. Also, it keeps the user motivated to exercise their pain away and keep track of their overall progression.
