About the Event
The future of the healthcare industry is deeply connected with artificial intelligence (AI). AI is impacting everything from drug discovery to digital health consultation with doctors. The question is, how will AI transform the industry, and which AI technologies will dominate healthcare. Join our event to find out!
AI is one of the world’s highest growing industries and is projected to reach a value of $150 billion by 2026. To explore this increasingly relevant and interesting topic, CBS Health presents a digital panel debate with three stakeholders who will discuss AI in healthcare from a future perspective. They are all heavily involved in innovation in life science but with different focuses - an investor, a consultant, and an expert:
• Michael Hansen: Michael is a senior investment officer in the Danish innovation fund and specializes in machine learning and AI. He holds a Ph.D. degree in image processing, multivariate statistics, and chemoinformatic from DTU.
• Ana Maricevic: Ana is an advisor to executives, boards, and investors in life science companies on issues of strategy, new business development, and innovation. She is based in Brussels is an expert evaluator at a non-profit investment fund in early-stage oncology innovation start-ups.
• Bill Scuba: Bill is a senior data scientist and team leader with over 20 years of experience. He is based in California and is currently a partner at AI REV (a boutique partnership of practical AI experts, that provides state-of-the-art consulting & projects), where he specializes in projects concerning healthcare.
We will cover the areas:
•What is AI in Healthcare?
•How can we expect AI to impact the future of healthcare?
•Which limitations or roadblocks is AI encountering to reach its full potential?
