About the Event
The average hospital generates annually 50 petabytes of data (50M GB) according to EY. However, only 3% of this data is used. How can hospitals leverage patient’s data in order to bring solutions to the market? How can physicians and entrepreneurs work together and innovate to address unmet medical needs?
Dr Eyal Zimlichman, Chief Medical Officer at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel, will introduce a unique concept that aims to facilitate innovation by connecting startups, doctors and hospital data- the ARC innovation center. In essence, the ARC is an accelerator that helps digital health early stage startups by providing round A funding, facilitates access to hospital’s healthcare data and professionals and expedites commercialisation. So far, the ARC Innovation Center has established partnerships worldwide with corporate partners, public institutions, academic centers and hospitals including Denmark’s North Zealand Hospital.
The center focuses on digital health technologies including precision medicine, big data, AI, telemedicine and mobile health.
